Lesson Five – Sewing Puppets

This design technology teaching pack for Key Stage One gets the children to investigate and practise ways of joining different fabrics and materials using sewing skills. The class can try using running stitches to follow different lines and shapes when sewing pieces of fabric that might be used for a puppet’s clothing.
