Triangle Angle Match

This maths teaching pack for Key Stage Two gets the children to identify and record a range of different shaped triangles that match sets of three angles. The class can practise using protractors to measure and record angles for each identified triangular shape.

Download this teaching pack including a lesson plan, classroom activities and an interactive presentation to teach the children to identify and record a range of different shaped triangles that match sets of three angles

Learning Objectives

Compare and classify geometric shapes based on their properties and find unknown angles in any triangles. Draw given angles, and measure them in degrees

Learning Outcomes

I can calculate the value of acute and obtuse angles in shapes. I can draw angles in a triangle and measure them in degrees.

Triangle Angles (support)

Activity to help the children identify and record a range of different triangle shapes that can match sets of three angles

Triangle Angles (core)

Activity to help the children identify and record a range of different triangle shapes that can match sets of three angles

Triangle Angles (extension)

Activity to help the children identify and record a range of different triangle shapes that can match sets of three angles
