Lesson One – Moving Things

Activities in this teaching pack include display posters to explain how to use push and pull forces to move different objects, a set of cards to label different objects that can be found around the school that can be moved by pushing and pulling and a template to list things that move when using different forces.
The interactive presentation gets the children to explore how to move a range of different things by using different pushing and pulling forces.
This lesson is part of a curriculum topic scheme of work to get the children to identify, describe and test some of the different pushing and pulling forces that can be used to move a range of objects.
