English : Plurals Word Match

This example teaching resource is part of our English teaching pack to teach the children about changing words into plurals for Year Two in Key Stage One. The children can identify and match changes to the spellings of different words when adding the suffix es to nouns. The class can demonstrate their understanding of plural spellings by writing sentences on a range of topics.

Maths : Comparing Numbers

This example teaching resource is part of our maths teaching pack to teach the children about comparing numbers to ten for Year One in Key Stage One. The children can practise using concrete equipment and correct symbols to record numbers that are more than and less than other numbers to ten. The children can demonstrate their understanding by building card equations to illustrate how they have compared pairs of numbers.
